She was predeceased by: her parents, William Stewart and Freda Lewis Stewart; her husband Carl Eugene Gibbs; and her siblings, Leona, Marcella, Tommy and Roger.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Gibbs and Carla Gibbs. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
