He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Speer (Miller) and Rev. Earl Speer; and his in-laws, Ed and Donata Spear. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Speer (Spear); his children, Rev. Allen, Jenn Speer of Lebanon, Benjamin, Jess Speer of Winter Park, Florida, Stephanie, Caleb Osborn of Lebanon and Christopher Speer of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Karis and Kendall Speer; his brother Thomas Speer of Arkansas; and his siblings-in-law, Michael (Brandy Spear), Barry Spear, Susan (David Scarborough) and Sarah (Marty Rader). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
