With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doug Yates (Lebanon, Missouri), born in Stroud, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arley Yates and Audrey Hurd Yates; and his siblings, Marshall, Bud Yates and Edna Coryell.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Sing; his children, Crystal Jones (Travis) of Lebanon, Missouri, Audrey Rothwell (Rick) of Lebanon, Missouri and Brian Yates (Natty) of Grovespring, Missouri; his grandchildren, Shelby Rothwell, Sierra Jones, Ashlynn Hewitt, Carley Rothwell and Tyler Jones; his stepgrandchildren, Bradly Farrow, Drew Ince, Daniel Ince, Ashley Dennis and Amber Hulsey; his sisters, Lavone Zupan, Martha Shane and Lavera Gregory; and his sister-in-law Carol Yates. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Holman-Howe Funeral Homes (320 S Adams Ave, Lebanon, MO 65536). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
