Christian W. Schmidt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2024, at the age of 97, Christian W. Schmidt (Lebanon, Missouri), born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Schmidt and Sylvia Fredricson Schmidt; his wife Nancy; and his grandsons, James Schmidt and Travis Geddes.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Idelman (Chuck) of Roswell, Dayna Jewson of St. Louis, Susie Schmidt, Barb of Medford, Oregon, Mike Schmidt (Leaschia) of Grovespring, William "Bill" Schmidt (Marilyn) of Huntington Beach and Rick Geddes (Cindy) of Reno, Nevada; and his grandchildren, Joe, Angela, Eric, Jason and Tracy. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; and many, many friends.

A memorial has been established to Wounded Warriors and donations may be left at the funeral home.
