With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neal Stephens of Leasburg, Missouri, who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Reed Stephens and Leona May Stephens; his parents-in-law, Harold and Lucille Ray; his siblings, Helen Bender (Russ), Dean Stephens (Mary) and Donna Clonts (Darrell); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Jones, Stanley Bell, Edwin Woodruff and Dorothy Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Stephens of Leasburg, MO; his children, Steve Stephens (Brenda) of Leasburg, MO, Mark Stephens (Bonnie) of Leasburg, MO, James Stephens (Tina) of Leasburg, MO and Michelle Payne (Buddy) of Bourbon, MO; his sister Lola Bell of Sullivan, MO; his siblings-in-law, Harold Ray of Potosi, MO and Joan Woodruff of Columbia, MO; his grandchildren, Melissa Flowers (Sean), Stacey Payne (Robby), Darren Stephens, Carrie Stephens, Nick Stephens, Michaella Neuner (Daniel), Austin Stephens, Christy Hemby (Colby) and Joey Woodson; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Logan, Emmett, Ellie, Josephine, Leah, Harley, Leo, Mya, Shelby, Wyatt, Cassie, Lucas and Dawson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hutson Funeral Home (407 S Franklin St, Cuba, MO 65453). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials were suggested to the Lifehouse Youth Center, Cuba, MO in care of Deer Creek Church.
