With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Ann Hoskins of Leasburg, Missouri, who passed away on March 9, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Earl Donald Fortner and Paul "Leroy" Hoskins; her parents, Herman Gruver and Bessie Gruver (Pyatt); her son Donald Lee Fortner; her siblings, Pete Gruver, James Gruver and Nellie (Harold Studdard); and her brothers-in-law, Norman, Gail Eugene Helton, John Copling, Granville Rayl and Bill Lause.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley (Marcus Dotson) of Leasburg, Nancy (Carl Deardeuff) of Cuba, James Fortner of Farmington, Kathy (Bill Carr) of Crane and Sandra (Brent Cotter) of Stockton, Missouri; her siblings, Louise Lause of Cuba, Arlene Rayl, Shirley Gruver of DeSoto, Missouri and Jack (Sharon Gruver) of Cuba, Missouri; and her sisters-in-law, Sue Gruver of Cuba, Verna Gruver of Cuba and Lucille Wilcox of Bland Missouri. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
