He was predeceased by: his parents, James Orton and Gladys Orton; his sister Gertie Tourville; and his granddaughter Jordan Orton. He is survived by: his wife Thea Orton (Hunter) of Leasburg; his children, James Orton of Leasburg, Paul Orton of Leasburg, Michael Orton of Bourbon, Vanita King (James) of Leasburg and Lovisa Evans (Justin Evans) of Bourbon; his siblings, Roy Watson (Pat) of Sullivan, John Orton (Becky) of Sullivan and Connie Roskowske (Doug) of St. James; his grandchildren, Josh King, Noelle King, Tashianna King, Nathan King, Mariah Bennett, Elijah King, Jacob King, Jayme King, Rachel Orton, Dakota Orton, Jeremiah Orton, Alaina Evans, Justin Evans II and Eleanor Evans; and his great grandchildren, Gavin and Hutson. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home (904 W Washington St, Cuba, MO 65453). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Lea Cemetery (415 Missouri Mm, Leasburg, MO 65535).
