He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Penberthy and Cora Penberthy (Simmons); and his brothers, Genard and Vernon Penberthy. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Anita Penberthy (Forshee); his children, Charles Penberthy (Donna), Patricia McClure, Neal Penberthy (Kathy) and Melanie Dillard (David); and his siblings, Ilah Jean Miller, Donald Penberthy, Beverly Floyd (Gene) and Rita Penberthy. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Family Ministry Center at the First Baptist Church of Desloge.
