He is survived by: his wife Laura Covey (Kremer); his children, Gennifer Diaz (Jaime) and Elizabeth Hedges (James); his grandchildren, Jace, Jaxson and Jarod Hedges; and his siblings, Jack Covey (Eleanor), Audrey McSwain (Todd), David Gene Covey (Jan), Steven Covey, Gary Covey (Amy) and Tommy Covey (Cheryl). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
