She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Whitfield and Hattie Whitfield; her son-in-law Tim Gant; her grandson Brad Abeln; and her siblings, Oneida Stevens, Betty Scott, Patsy Reeves, Bobbie Sanders, Joyce Carolyn and Jack Whitfield.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Speak; her daughter Lenora Gant; her grandchildren, Melinda Vroom, Amelia Gant, Lindsey Hicks and Brandon Abeln; and her siblings, Dean, Levi Whitfield, Wilma Huff and Helen Hathaway. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
