He is survived by: his wife Tamara Watts; his grandson Max; his daughter Melissa (Brandon); his grandson Gunner Fortner of Kansas City; his mother Mary Banning Melton of Lawson; and his brother Don (Michelle Banning) of Excelsior Springs.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
