He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carlile and Ethel Carlile (Killpack); his sisters, Viola Schnack, Vera Coffman and Ilene Sindt; and his wife Lila Belle Gorden.
He is survived by: his sister Alice Waite of Lee's Summit, MO; his daughter Melanie Mathena (Terry) of Camdenton, MO; his grandchildren, Lindsey Bottorff (Jeff) of Cameron, MO and Kip (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Landri and Jace. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
