She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harvey Claxton and Bertha Claxton of Cumberland City, Tennessee.; her children, Donna Saari, Karen Kunzelmann (Mike), Harvey Wayne Allred and Merrill Ray Allred, Jr.; her grandchildren, Paula Winter (Brad), Carolyn Kennedy, Donald Kennedy (Carroll), Gustave Hoelscher III (Annette) and Christopher Hoelscher; her pet Maggy; and also, Mark Kunzelmann (Sheri), Sherri Kunzelmann and Bonny Mill (Robert).

Laurie Care Center became her extended family during COVID lockdown.
