We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2021, at the age of 79, Walter Shields Jr. of Lathrop, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Victor Shields, Sr. and Marie Jane Shields (Cook). He is survived by: his wife Debbie Pennington; his sisters, Ina Bledsoe (Bill) of Olathe, KS, Nada Jensen of Sun City, AZ, Bille Mark (Jim) of Colusa, CA, Florence Davis of Johnston, Doris Dean of Lenexa, KS, Janice Frydendall of Pleasanton, KS, Nancy Bruffett of Massachusetts and Debbie Newman (David) of Wichita, KS; and his siblings-in-law, Larenda Dravenstott of Lawson and Dr. Steve Pennington (D'Andrea) of Ozark, MO. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to NorthCare Hospice House in care of the funeral home.
