He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ruth VanZant of Lathrop, Woodford and Hazel Peterman of Lawson. He is survived by: his parents, Loy W. VanZant and H. Joan VanZant (Peterman); his brother Kevin of Holt; his nephew Kyle of Kansas City; and his pet Ozzie.
