He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Franklin Archer and Joy Bell Archer (Robinson); his wife Jeannie Archer; his daughter Amber Joy Archer; and his grandson Anthony R. Hoedl.

He is survived by: his children, Teresa Archer and Larry F. Archer; his grandchildren, Jeana Archer, Derek Archer and King Archer; his great grandchildren, Jordan Archer, Katelyn Archer, Shyann Archer Smith, Tyler Smith, Gracelynn Hoedl and Brooklyn Archer; and his sister Barbara Hunsaker (Randy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
