He is survived by: his brother Hugh Downing (Patti); his son Richard Downing; his grandson Vincent; his son Dustin Downing (Joanna); and his grandchildren, Carter, Abbie, Jacob, Mindy Doubrava (Derek) and Jeremy Coronado. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, close friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkville Presbyterian Church (819 Main St, Parkville, MO 64152).
