He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Hindley and Pearl Hindley (Harvey); his wife Karen McCabe Hindley; and his siblings, Margaret "Popo" Hindley, Leslie Boylan, Paul Hindley, James Hindley, Elizabeth Trammel and Tim Hindley.
He is survived by : his children, Jody Vondrak (Kevin) of Hinton, IA, Paula Hartzell (Randy) of Lathrop, MO and Mick Hindley of Des Moines, IA; his grandchildren, Caleb Hartzell (Brenna), Tyler Hindley, Kole Vondrak, Kyle Vondrak, Josh Hartzell, Drake Hindley, Hannah Hartzell and Alexandra Jurgensmeier (Logan); his great grandchildren, Brody Hartzell, Chloe Hartzell and Cooper Hartzell; his brother Tom Hindley (Janet); and his sister-in-law Kathy Maddaleno.
