He was predeceased by : his parents, Adam Butcher and Mabel Butcher (Stapleton); his former life partner Irene; his son Randy; and his siblings, Eugene Butcher and Anna Mae Coldwell (Madeline Hickman).

He is survived by : his sisters, Betty Price of Nashua, MO and Lois Collins; and his stepsons, Gary Burton (Natalie) of Smithville, MO and Brent Burton (Mary McGinley).
