He was predeceased by: his parents, Lero O'Connor and Itress Fern O'Connor (Cassell); his siblings, Elmer, Marvin, Della Dean, Denzil Dee, Jack, Lou, Sue and Dale; and his father-in-law John Diibon.
He is survived by: his spouse Michelle Watkins; his children, Misty Thomas (Chad), Scott O'Connor (Nicole) and Caitlin Doerksen (Grant); his siblings, Joe O'Connor (June), Rose Ann Heath (Bill) and Linda Owen (Eugene); his grandchildren, Vada, Charlie, Ashley, Dylan, Garrett, Harley, Rikki, Trevor, Taylor, Alexis and Brody; and his great grandchild Annie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to KU Cancer Center-North Kansas City Campus in loving memory of David O'Connor in care of the funeral home.
