He was predeceased by: his stepfather John Maudlin; his siblings, Evelyn Roush and Dean Lucas; and his grandson Shawn Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Helena Partridge; his brothers, McClean Truck Lines and Freightways; and his children, Venus Leannea King (Ron) of Liberty, MO and Dennis Lucas (Linda) of Lathrop, MO. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
