With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara L. (Tapp) Vickers of Lathrop, Missouri, who passed away on January 3, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother Purney Barr (Kinman); her brothers, Howard Barr and Ray Barr; her former husband Donald W. Tapp; her daughter Janet Sue Tapp; her husband John W. Vickers, Jr.; her children, D. L. Tapp (Patty) of Rogersville and Vickie Malott (Ron) of Lathrop, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Janna Segovia (Omar) and Jay Malott (Carrie); her great grandchildren, Keziah, Elijah, Titus, Eliyana and Jaikan; her stepchildren, Linda Pratt and John Vickers III (Anastasia); her stepgrandchildren, Cindy Fry (Jason), Steven Pratt and Byram; her siblings, Roy Barr (Delores) and Margie Strohl; and her close friend Roy Wieneke. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church, Lathrop in care of the funeral home.
