He was predeceased by: his father Robert A. Lovell; his wife Judith "Judy" Tate; and his stepfather Lloyd Bowe. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Lovell (Harris) of Chillicothe, Missouri; and his siblings, Neal Lovell (Margaret) of Jamesport, Dale Lovell (Brenda Hatfield) of Trenton, Missouri and Brenda Dye (Jim) of Kansas City, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
