He is survived by: his wife Cleta; his children, Steve Sterling (Vicki) of Clarksdale, MO and Cathy Bowe (Ken) of Laredo; his sister Darlene Glidewell of Camdenton, MO; his grandchildren, Gina Lynn Sterling, Craig Randel Sterling (Dana), Amanda Kim Terhune (Scott) and Keith Randal Bowe (Karla); and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Sue Terhune, Dakota Carson Terhune, Alexis Brooke Bowe, Ethan Randal Bowe and Emily Grace Bowe.
