She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Steen and Sibyl Steen (Lasley); her son Everett Austin Tallman; her son-in-law James West; and her brother Cecil Edwin "Bud" Steen.
She is survived by: her former husband Charles Cook; her sons, Charles (Corky) and Robert (Robb); her husband Bryce Tallman; her children, Annette West of Newton, IA, Corky Cook (Sonia) of Downing, MO, Marcia Martin (Stanley) of Lancaster, MO, Robb Cook (Dana) of Merriman, NB, Curtis Tallman (Cindy) of Lancaster, MO., Patrick Tallman (Joanna) of Lancaster, MO., Henry Cook (Julie) of Lancaster, MO. and Beth Haley (Matt) of Lancaster, MO.; and her sister-in-law Shirlene Hartsock (Dave) of Glenwood, MO.. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
