She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Burgher and Elva Burgher (Barr); her husband Walter Cleo Adkins; and her siblings, Ralph, Bryan, Norman, Grover, John Burgher, Marjorie Smith, Helen Burgher, Geraldine Burgher and Authrine Beeler.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Adkins (Cynthia) of Greenville and Steven Adkins; and her niece Nancy Kerby of Lancaster. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
