With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Everett Quinten Smyser of Lancaster, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Everett Quinten left this world on April 22, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Phillip and Ada Belle Smyser (Chambers); his sons, David Smyser and Mark Smyser (Christy); his granddaughter Kelly Gray; his siblings, Payton Smyser (Juanita), Anna Lou Bird (Sandy), Mary Belle Durham (Donald) and Nancy Kale Kerby; and his brothers-in-law, Earl Glenn and Robert Melvin.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Brubaker of Lancaster, Missouri; his children, Debbie Smyser (Mike Stutsman) of Kirksville, Kevin Smyser (Millie) of Smithville and Aaron Smyser (Talia Rodgers) of Greentop, Missouri; his grandchildren, Tracy Goodson, Travis Tucker, Tyler Tucker, Tracy Mathews (Adrian), Jordan Berry (Shawn Kelliher), Alexa Smyser (Dustin Schempp), Olivia Harris (Daniel), Lincoln Smyser, Brenden Smyser (Alexis), Joel Smyser, Abby Enderle (Albert), Irelan Smyser and Harley Smyser; his siblings, Edith Glenn, Esther Cypert, Virginia Melvin and Manley Smyser (Mary); and his brother-in-law Keith Kerby. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lancaster Christian Church (212 W Washington St, Lancaster, MO 63548). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Lancaster Christian Church (23453 State Hwy V, Lancaster, MO 63548).
