We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Virginia Potter of Lamar, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Dearing and Sada Dearing (Williams); her husband Laverne H. Potter; her daughter Ann Shrout; and her brothers, George Dearing, Claude Dearing, Junior Dearing and Sterling Dearing.

She is survived by: her children, Bruce Potter of Lamar, MO, Barb Stilabower (Lonnie) of Lamar, MO and Carol Barr (Pat) of Lamar, MO; her grandchildren, Josh Shrout (Melissa), Chris Shrout (Melissa), Angie Bailey (Steve), Heath Stilabower, Kim Friend (Rile), Jeff Barr (Lisa) and Jon Barr (Kaley); her great grandchildren, Anna Shrout, Jacob Shrout, Jackson Shrout, Lauren Shrout, Peyton Bailey, Travis Bailey, Tristen Stilabower, Natalia Canet, Ryder Friend, Rex Friend, Joe Barr and Gus Barr; her great great grandchild Madilyn Jo Stilabower; her brother Jewell Dearing; her sister-in-law Dorothy Dearing; and her son-in-law David Shrout.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to the Lamar United Methodist Church Children's Ministries in care of the funeral home.
