We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2025, at the age of 56, Ricky Dee VanGilder of Lamar, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Carl VanGilder; his brother Randy VanGilder; and his grandfathers, Chester Davis (Lucy) and Earl VanGilder (Anna). He is survived by: his mother Patsy Faye VanGilder (Davis); his children, Dylan VanGilder (Rachel) of Riverton, KS, Slater VanGilder of Lamar, MO and Carlee VanGilder of Lamar, MO; and his granddaughters, Amber Morris and Ava VanGilder. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home (1201 Broadway St, Lamar, MO 64759).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Barton County Library in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
