It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lyndell Hurt of Lamar, Missouri, born in Greenfield, Missouri, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Hurt and Edith Hurt (Daughtery); his wife Judy; his sister Vesta Jennings; and his brothers-in-law, Ozzie Thieman and Wayne Marshall.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Jack (Michael) of Joplin, MO., Russ Hurt (Suzanne) of Lamar, MO. and Beth Shoff of Mt. Vernon, MO; his grandchildren, Chris Jack, Jeff Jack, Jeremiah Jack, Douglas Jack, Ryan Hurt, Chase Hurt, Brooke Booker, Blake Westbrooke, Kyler Shoff and Kaden Shoff; and his siblings, Larry Hurt, Wanda Webb (John), Veda Thieman and Marilyn Marshall. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
