Larry Roland Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2022, at the age of 82, Larry Roland of Lamar, Missouri, born in Jerico Springs, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Jackson Roland and Maxine Fontella Bratton; his wife Sheila Fae Thompson; his sister Janice Armstrong; his nephew Bradley Armstrong; and his son-in-law Tim Buchanan.

He is survived by: his children, Eva Roland Buchanan and Curt (Susan Roland) of Lamar; his grandchildren, Kelli (Saula Niqara) of Arlington, Virginia, Ashley (Roger Payne Jr.) of St. James, Kailey (Brenyn Jungmann) of Belton, Kenna (Jacob Russell) of Lenexa and Kip Roland (Lauren) of Bentonville; his great grandchildren, Roger "RJ" Payne III and Maralynne Payne; and his nieces, Dana Carver and Elizabeth Armstrong.
