With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita Schmitt of Lamar, Missouri, born in Blackwell, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 24, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Jernigan and Fannie Jernigan (Kern); her husband Stanley Schmitt; and her siblings, Danny Joe, Billy Dale, Bob, Harold, Kenneth, Mozelle and Hazel.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Schmitt (Pam) of Ocala, FL, Cheryl Nims (Wayne) of Lamar, MO and Linda Womack; and her sister Glenda Carlson.
