He is survived by: his wife Sherill; his children, David Shumake of Lamar, MO., Bryan Shumake of Jerico Springs, MO and Sherill Chopski of Aurora, Missouri; and his sister Charlotte Peterson of Georgia. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
