It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jess Masterson of Lamar, Missouri, who passed away on January 31, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jess Masterson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Allen Masterson and Fern Lucille Hannah; his daughter Melinda Richy; his sister Delores Dawe; and his brothers-in-law, Don Dawe and Rick Pierson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Kentner; his children, Rocky Higgins of Lamar, Tye Bell of Ft. Worth, Zach Masterson (Jill) of Lockwood, Rowdy Masterson of Lamar and Piper Masterson; his siblings, Terry Masterson (Angie) of Lamar and Donna Ray of Harrisonville; his brother-in-law Richard Kentner (Princess); and his close friends, Terry Moore and Randy Plunkett. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
