He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Compton and Elizabeth Fuhr Compton; his wife Edith Hines; and his brother Don Compton. He is survived by: his daughters, Rachele Lord and Denise James (Will); his granddaughters, Elise, Clarise, Cora and Veronica James; and his brothers, Carl and Gene Compton.
