She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Chapman and Esther Chapman (Willhoite); her husband Bob Gariss; her brother-in-law Loren Morey; and her grandson Casey Gariss.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Gariss (Julie) of Joplin, MO, Gwen Ansley (Steve) of Lamar, MO, Dennis Gariss (Nancy) of Lamar, MO and Doug Gariss (Derenda) of Lamar, MO; and her siblings, Meredith Chapman (Sharon) of Lamar, MO and Ellen Jo Morey of Lamar, MO. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and 43 great-grandchildren.
