She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert LeRoy Aton and Margaret Sue Aton (Redman); her siblings, Arthur Aton, Margaret Nelson and Virginia Hall; and her niece Charlene Wilton.

She is survived by: her children, Joe Garrett of Springfield and Constance Garrett of Atlanta; and her sister Roberta "Bertie" Ann Wilton of Denver, Colorado..
