She was predeceased by: her parents, John Aldon Medlin and Lola Mae Medlin (Gardner); her husband Gerald William Gilkey; and her siblings, Opal Polston, Wilma "Shorty" Lincoln, Jewell Medlin and Gerald Medlin.
She is survived by: her son Steve Gilkey (Nancy); her grandchildren, John Gilkey (Abby), Courtney Gardner (Jeff) and Katie Gilkey (Larry Seward); her great grandchildren, Jordin Mahsman (Jordan), Emily Dimond (John), Hannah Jeffries, Jack Gilkey, William Jeffries, Hattie Widhalm (Jack) and Carter Young; and her great great grandchild Rowan Dimond.
