He was predeceased by: his parents, William Albert McManis and Effie Ester Cleo McManis (Berry); his son Gary McManis; his son-in-law Larry Ferris; his great grandchild Jordan Ferris; and his great great grandchild Lily McManis.
He is survived by: his wife Justine; his children, Robert McManis (Carolyn), Gayland McManis (Carla) and Judy Ferris of Lamar, MO.; his grandchildren, Jenny Moore (Chad) of Lamar, Chad McManis (Jennie) of Lamar, Michael McManis (Becky) of Lamar, Jerrad Ferris (Astra) of Lamar, Linsey Brazeal (Les) of Lamar, Brock McManis (Tara) of Lamar, Justin McManis (Misty) of Lamar, Landon McManis of Valdosta and Brista Poor (Justin) of Springfield, Missouri; and his half-brother Derl Jones (Barbara) of Peculiar. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.
