He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence McBroom and Geneva McBroom; and his siblings, Larry, Lawrence, Martha, Shirley and Jody.

He is survived by: his wife Jo-Jo; his children, Brian McBroom (Leesa) and Shannon Hylton (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Tony (Katie), Sarah, Max, Dallas, Dalton and Jaxen. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
