He was predeceased by: his parent Elizabeth Gonwa; and his sister Jeannie Gonwa. He is survived by: his spouse Peggy Gonwa; his parent Robert Gonwa; his grandchildren, Josh, Evan, Mary, Parker, Sloane, Lily and Charlotte; his siblings, Mary Mack (Mike), Robert Gonwa (Carol), Cathy Lapp (William) and William Gonwa; and his brother-in-law Robert Hansen (Nancy Miller).
