With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Jacobs of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel David and Elizabeth Cushner Jacobs; his former wife Thyra Layton Jacobs; his son Dale Jacobs; his brothers, Donald and Harold Jacobs; and his stepsons, Barry and Kent Layton.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Squires; his stepsons, George and Paul Squires; his daughter-in-law Debbie Jacobs; his grandchildren, Allison, Aimee, Darby, Michelle, Nicholas and Samantha; and his great grandchildren, Michelle, Isla, Georgia, Ava and Marisa.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wolfersberger Funeral Home (102 W Washington St, O'Fallon, IL 62269). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
