He is survived by: his mother-in-law Dorothy Mae "Dot" Wienstroer; his wife Dot Hoeferlin; his children, Craig Hoeferlin (Cheri), Keith Hoeferlin and Karen Higano (Stuart); his grandchildren, Erica Steffensmeier (Kyle), Reed Hoeferlin and Connor Higano; and his siblings, Geraldine "Geri" Pirrie-Toler, Elmer Hoeferlin (Charlotte) and H. James "Jim" Hoeferlin.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory (14960 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the New Bethlehem Cemetery (9650 Bellefontaine Rd, St. Louis, MO 63137).
