He was predeceased by: his father Virgil; his wife Norma Nordmann; and his siblings, Don Eilering and Barb Dulle. He is survived by: his sons, Doug Eilering (Amy), Dan Eilering (Anastasia) and David Eilering (Carla); his grandchildren, Colin, Maura, Beatrice, Sam and Leepa; and his sister Marilyn Markus.
Memorials in memory of Leroy may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be received at the funeral home.
