Leon Sanford Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Sanford Sr. of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene Sanford; his son W. Leon; his great grandchild Tucker; his siblings, Larry and Carol Finke; and his sister-in-law Celeste Carter.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Sanford and Tracy Loehr (Tim); his grandchildren, Billy Osterwisch, Justin Sanford (Alexis), Kevin Sanford, Abigail Sanford, Stephanie Rachas (Nick) and Adam Loehr (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Castiel, Jensen, Amara, Isabella and Logan; his brothers, Wayne Sanford (Nancy) and John Sanford, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Maxine Nahmensen, Jerry Messenger (Cathie) and Dennis Carter (Helen).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory (14960 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Lake Charles Park Cemetery (7775 St Charles Rock Rd, St. Louis, MO 63114).
