With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Knopfel of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 29, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Knopfel; his parents, Lawrence Knopfel and Hazel Knopfel; his son David Knopfel (Grace); his grandson Christopher Hegger; and his siblings, Ronald Knopfel and Shirley McFadin.
He is survived by: his daughter Rochelle Wilson (George); and his grandchildren, Ryan Hegger (Melissa), Shawn Hegger, Josh Knopfel (Brandi), Jake Knopfel (Jennifer), Andy Knopfel (Heather), Janine Moreland (James) and Brian Wilson.
Memorials may be made in Lawrence's name to Eagle Scout Association or Gateway St. Louis Honor Flight.
