He was predeceased by: his parents, Lafayette Hawkins and Pearl Hawkins; and his siblings, Wayne, Chuck, Harold, Bobby, Tommy, Berle, Merle and Helen Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Hawkins (Penny) and Angela Hawkins-Medina; his grandchildren, Amado Medina (Mandy) and Grace Medina; and his sisters, Rosemary Hawkins and Patricia Haferkamp.
