Frances Marek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Marek of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 17, 2023 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frances Marek to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Schilling and Ruth Schilling; her husband Don Marek Sr.; her siblings, Sue and Bill; and her sons, Doug Fogal and David Bertorello.
She is survived by: her children, Denny Fogal, Connie Hellyer, Jim Fogal, Tim Fogal and Elizabeth Hutson; and her siblings, Pat and Don. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
As a final gift, Fran donated her body to the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Knight Alzheimer Disease Research Center at Washington University.
