He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester William Clay and Edna Mae Clay; and his siblings, Charles Clay of Ohio, James Clay of Florida, Robert Clay of Ohio, Curtis Clay of West Virginia, Gay Salmons of Indiana, Ruth Stacey of Kentucky and Doreen Talkington of Ohio.
He is survived by: his children, AnnMarie Welker (Tim), Wesley Clay of Oregon and Kristina Boehm (Ted); his grandchildren, Timothy Welker, Jr., Rebecca Micheletti (Brandon), Elizabeth Welker, Clayton Boehm, Courtney Boehm and Carlie Boehm; his great grandchildren, Henry, Ruby and Josie; and his siblings, Bonnie Faulkner (Harlow) of Ohio, Karen Fadley (Gerald) of Ohio, Kathyrn Evans of West Virginia and Darlene Taylor of Ohio.
