He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Brooks and Laura Brooks (Harms); his brother Benjamin Brooks; and his stepfather Edward "Gus" Zika. He is survived by: his wife Alice Brooks (Meyer); his son Paul Brooks; his daughter-in-law Kelly; and his grandchildren, Tatum and Quinn.
